After earning my Masters in Professional Counseling and gaining hands-on experience through diverse clinical settings, I embarked on a fulfilling journey to become a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. My passion for understanding the complexities of the human mind and my commitment to fostering well-being led me to pursue advanced training in evidence-based therapies, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy approaches. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from various backgrounds, helping them navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief, personality disorders, and trauma. My approach is centered on creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Each client's unique journey inspires me, and I am dedicated to partnering with them to achieve personal growth and emotional resilience.
With over 10 years of experience in a therapy setting, I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy and I have multiple specialities. I received my Master’s Degree from Liberty University and can apply a Christian worldview with my clients.
I work with adolescents ages 11 and older, and adults. The theoretical orientations that I use are Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness Based, Family Based, Prolonged Exposure, Mindfulness based, Solution Focused, and Person-Centered Therapy. I use a comprehensive approach to therapy and determine which method is best suited for each client.
